The who, what, when, why and how of your Inner Samurai

Reid offers these tips for discovering your Inner Samurai:
  • Understand who your Inner Samurai is. Known by many names, it has been called the still small voice within, seat of your Soul, and inner truth, to name a few.
  • Recognize what it is not. It is not the chatterbox voice inside your head, the monkey mind, or the ego. It is not the voice that worries about the past or is fearful about the future.
  • Know why your Inner Samurai exists. It is here to remind you of who you truly are and guide you. Your Inner Samurai is your greatest source of strength and knowing, the seat of your wisdom, and the place of your extraordinary uniqueness.
  • Figure out how to tell the difference between when your Inner Samurai is speaking to you and when it is not. Your Inner Samurai has a gentle, yet very recognizable, way of communicating with you — I call it pulsing. When you go inward and ask your Inner Samurai a question, you will feel a yes or no pulse answering you. Anything more than that, and you can be sure it’s the worried, fearful voice inside your head, freaking out.
