Almost everyone I meet has a book in them. Few of those books ever make it onto the page. The difference between a book idea and a finished book isn’t talent. It’s a simple equation. Book Idea + No Deadline = A Someday Book. Without a date attached, your book waits for “when things calm down.” Things rarely calm down. Book Idea + Deadline = A Writing Goal. Once you choose a finish date, “someday” becomes a real project you can measure and work toward. Book Idea + Deadline + Outline = A Writing Plan. An outline is your map. With one, you always know what to write next, and the blank page loses its power over you. Book Idea + Deadline + Outline + Daily Writing = A Finished Book. This is where books actually get written. Pages add up only when you put words on them, even a few hundred a day. Look at the equation below and ask yourself honestly: which piece is missing from your book right now? If you’re missing the plan or the accountability, that’s exactly what a Book Shepherd provides. If you’d rather share your story and have someone else put it on the page, that’s where ghostwriting comes in. Either way, your book doesn’t have to stay a someday book. Let's talk.
